About Marie's presentation

In english course, we had to create small presentation about any subject.
I've a lot of liked Marie's presentation, about the French sexuality and the American sexuality. Indeed, I've found this subject was really original and funny! In the same time, Marie set us straigth about some questions that we could answer. In fact, differences between the American sexuality and the French sexuality concern us... and some figures that she gave us, allowed to notice that in sexuality subject in French is less taboo than in America. Actually, we can watch a lot of American movies dealing with drugs, sex...but American people used to stay chaste about those subject. Perhaps it's due to a lot of American people use to practice a religion... ?
Thus, Marie's presentation was a good presentation and she spoke clearly so we were able to understand very easily.

My American dream

My American dream is in connection with my professional project.
Since my childhood, I'm fascinated by the USA. I like cinema, so through American movies, I could imagin a huge and beautiful America. Thus, my American dream stands for the freedom which could give me the opportunity to do the job like I want, in a good company with a good team. According to me, a good team it's a really important point in order to make a good work. I would like working in an international company. I would be responsible for internal ans external communication. I could organize some events out USA and I could take care of American-French relationship.
Moreover, I would meet a relax and a beautiful husband in order to my American dream would be full. ;)

When I will be a grown-up girl...

Today, I'm studing the international communication. Later, I hope working within International company, but actually it's difficult for me to know my futur job. I like a lot of things in the communication world. For instance, I like managing partner, I like organize, I like writting and managing press relation. So, I'm still undicided to choose a speciality.
I believe that event organisation would match me more than press relation. During my two training course, I could discover a part of event driven communication because I could organise convention within a company and I could organize concert. I had liked a lot, because I like working with a team, manage the stress, be proud of finality events…It was so exiting!
Thus, my futur job is a little blurred but I know I want to travel a lot and meet people and discover new culture.

An other passion...

A presentation about Halloween

On november, Halloween is celebrated in whole world.
But actually, we don't know really its origins ?!

Halloween’s Origin:
The word itself, "Halloween," actually has its origins in the Catholic Church. It comes from a contracted corruption of All Hallows Eve. November 1, "All Hollows Day" (or "All Saints Day"), is a Catholic day of observance in honor of saints. But, in the 5th century BC, in Celtic Ireland, summer officially ended on October 31. The holiday was called Samhain (pronounced sow-in), which means "end of summer", the Celtic New year.

The Romans:
After the Romans conquered most of that territory, and they adopted the Celtic practices as their own and in the first century it was assimilated into celebrations of some of the other Roman traditions that took place in October, such as their day to honour Pomona, the Roman goddess of fruit and trees.
The symbol of Pomona is the apple, which might explain the origin of our modern tradition of bobbing for apples on Halloween.

But, The custom of Halloween was brought to America in the 1840's by Irish immigrants fleeing their country's famine.

Halloween’s customs:
Trick-or-treating is a custom for children on Halloween. Children proceed in costume from house to house, asking for treats such as candies, or sometimes money, with the question, "Trick or treating?" , which means in French: “Bombons ou mauvais tours?” .

Jack - o - lantern: Who is it?
The Jack-o-lantern custom probably comes from Irish folklore. Actullay, Jack is a pumpkin.

Now, you can watch a funny movie about Jack...:

Remind you always those moments...(my passion!)

I use to realise some videos about my life with my friends.
Actually, We are 15 persons in our group and for years we use to share our evenings of weekend together. There are some musiciens, so, we use to sing and they use to play music. They are my second family.
So, I love the party we use to celebrate. They are so fun and I'm always afraid that one party could be the last!
Thus, I've wanted to immortalize those moments with my movie camera, because according to me, time are spending too quickly, so I believe that it's important to remember our youth.
Consequently, I use to film those moments and then, I use to realise an editing concerning those movies with a lot of music which stand for the different moments.
I use the software : Pinnacle Studio. It's a good software, because it is easy to use and the definition of the movie is great.
And when I look at them, I'm so homesick...It's like a real movie!!!
